In 2020 Tim was commissioned by Danish Company Nine United to deliver the range strategy and Art Direction for the Lighting Collection for a new design brand they were forming. This was alongside developing a number of new lighting concepts for the marque.
This project encompassed establishing the aesthetic direction and design guidelines for the collection as well as creating a range strategy and briefs. Proposals from emerging independent designers and established studios were then selected and developed under the direction Tim and the internal Nine United management and product development team.
While Tim’s role was primarily focused on the lighting collection, the aesthetic direction document was also used to inform the curation of the furniture collection to create a cohesive design attitude across the brand.

In January 2023, Tim Rundle was appointed as Creative Director of the Aotearoa New Zealand based furniture and lighting brand Resident.

Bouncepad is a leading tablet enclosure brand based in London. Their founder approached us to engage in strategic design advisory role, acting somewhat as an external ‘Design Director’.
The first fruit of this collaboration is Eddy, a flexible and refined tablet stand for aesthetically demanding spaces. This also included the creation of a new brand design language which will be carried across new product developments for Mobile POS retail solutions.
We helped to develop their internal design processes, and spent time working with their in-house team, reviewing design work and overseeing concept development.
